NEW MEMBER RESOURCE - FORUMS

A number of forum topics have been added to the Hot Springs Association website. We encourage you to join the conversation with any questions or insights you might have. The forums are a way for members to share ideas and knowledge to better enhance progress for the hot springs industry. Please keep comments relevant to the topic. For a detailed understanding on how to use the forums please view this video. We are currently in the process of working to amend the Model Aquatic Health Code so your input and suggestions in these forums is greatly appreciated!

WATER AND WELLNESS: ASSESSING EXISTING SERVICES AT HOT SPRINGS PROPERTIES

The Hot Springs Association advocates for a holistic approach to wellness through hydrothermal springs. Our mission is to unify and elevate the hot springs resort and spa industry globally, which starts with an understanding of the existing services offered to guests. 

 

We would appreciate if you could take a few minutes and complete the following questionnaire by July 29, 2022. This will give us a clearer picture of how we can better assist you. Thank you.

Just submit your contribution below and we'll review it for inclusion in one of our upcoming newsletters. Please keep stories between 100 and 150 words. Longer stories will be linked to a landing page on the association website. Submissions for the next newsletter must be received by the 1st of the month.



TECH TIP

Updating your profile picture and business logo allows users to find your listing more readily.

 
Add your logo to your business directory listing
  1. Log into your account
  2. In the upper left hand corner click on the down arrow and choose Profile
  3. On your profile page choose Business Directory
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to where it says "Logo or Image"
  5. Click on browse to select your business' jpg logo from your computer
  6. Be sure to save at the bottom of the page
Add your picture to your member listing
  1. Log into your account
  2. In the upper left hand corner click on the down arrow and choose Profile
  3. Under Membership Summary there is a circular space for a profile picture
  4. Click the pencil icon below to edit your profile picture and add additional profile information

WORLD BATHING DAY SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS
On June 22 over 17 countries participated in a celebrated bathing ritual utilizing hot springs, sea baths, urban bathing, indoor pool and spas, bathtubs at home, beaches, rivers, floating pools, onsens and saunas. The hashtag #worldbathingday generated 225 Instagram posts (1,201 total since 2019), 84 Facebook posts and newly generated interest on WeChat. This resulted in 11,077 accounts reached on Instagram!
